Recipe photos

Every recipe can have a photo gallery. The first photo — or the one you choose — is the cover on the recipe list.

In the form

1. Open the recipe and choose Edit (or start a new recipe).
2. In the Photos section, tap Add photo.
3. On the phone choose Take a photo or Choose from gallery. In the browser pick a file from your computer.
4. To change the cover, tap Set as cover on the photo you want.
5. Save the recipe.

Remove a photo with Remove photo; on the phone, until you save the recipe, you can still bring it back with Restore photo.

If the connection drops, you’ll see something like “1 photo didn’t upload”. The recipe is already saved — just tap Retry.

Without opening the form

• On the phone, open the ⋮ menu in the recipe and choose Add photo.
• In the browser, the recipe header has an Add photo button.
• When you finish cooking in cooking mode (on the phone) you’ll also see Add photo — a good moment for a picture of the finished dish.

Photo from an import

When you import a recipe from a link, the Photo from the page switch adds that page’s photo to the gallery.

Privacy

Recipe photos are served from hard-to-guess links that don’t require signing in. Read more in the privacy policy.
