My kitchen

Tick what you have in your kitchen and recipes that need missing equipment fade out. Handy when you cook away from home too.

Not everyone has a blender, a pasta machine or a springform tin. Przepisnik shows what a recipe needs and compares it with your kitchen.

Tick your equipment

  • On the phone: More → My kitchen (in the Data section).
  • In the browser: Settings → My kitchen.

Tick the equipment you have. The list is split into groups: Heat sources, Pots & pans, Mixing, Measuring, Bakeware and Tools.

What changes

  • A recipe shows a You’ll need section — if something is missing, it’s marked Missing.
  • On the recipe list, recipes you lack equipment for don’t disappear; they’re dimmed, with a note like “Missing 1 tool”.
  • Steps show Equipment for this step, so you know in advance when you’ll need the mixer.

Cooking somewhere else?

At the allotment or at your parents’ the kitchen is different. On the recipe list open Filters and sorting and use Cooking elsewhere: “Uncheck what you don’t have here — we’ll dim what you can’t make.” Your saved My kitchen settings don’t change.

Equipment in a recipe

When editing a recipe, in the Equipment part you tick what’s needed to make it. Przepisnik suggests equipment it recognised in the step text (“Detected: …”) — you just add it.
