Sharing a recipe: link, person, PDF, card
Send a recipe as a link or straight into someone's book, turn it into an image card, a PDF or plain text.
The sharing options are in the recipe: on the phone ⋮ → Share, in the browser the Share button in the recipe header.
Share with someone
- Choose Share with someone.
- You have two ways:
- Link — tap Send link and send it to whoever you like. The link is “valid for 7 days, for up to 10 people”.
- Email — enter an address and tap Share. If the person doesn’t have an account, they’ll get an email with a code for their first sign-in.
- The Has access list shows who you’ve shared the recipe with. Remove access takes it back.
Whoever opens the link sees the recipe — its name, ingredients and preparation — even without signing in. Once signed in, the recipe appears in their list. They can cook it and Save a copy, but only you can edit it. They can remove a shared recipe from their list with Remove from mine.
Card (image)
Card (image) makes a good-looking recipe card for messages or Instagram. You pick a Template, a Format (Post 4:5; Story 9:16 is on the Plus plan) and what goes On the card: Photo, Ingredients, Macros per portion. Then Share card.
PDF / Print
PDF / Print prepares the recipe for printing or as a file — Create PDF.
At the bottom of cards and PDFs there’s a discreet “Przepisnik · przepisnik.app” mark. On the Plus plan you can show Your brand instead — a name, a handle, a colour and a logo. Some templates are on the Plus plan — you can preview them, and share in the Len template.
Text
Text copies or shares the whole recipe as plain text — to paste anywhere.
A recipe book
Make a PDF of several recipes from the recipe list: on the phone the book icon at the top of the list, in the browser Create a book. On the Free plan a book holds up to 10 recipes; a cover photo and a table of contents are on the Plus plan.
Household members
You don’t need to send links to people in your shared household — turn on Share with household in the recipe.
