How to delete your account and all your data

You can delete your account yourself, at any time. This can’t be undone. All your recipes, categories, units, notes, cakes and login data will be deleted.

Before you delete

• Want a copy of your recipes? Save the important ones as a PDF (Share → PDF / Print) or make a recipe book of them. You can also write to us — we’ll prepare a file with your data.
• If you’re in a shared household, the shared list, plan and pantry stay in the household for the other members.

On the phone

1. Open the More tab.
2. Tap your name at the very top — Profile opens.
3. At the bottom, in the Danger zone section, tap Delete account.
4. Confirm in Delete account permanently? with Continue.
5. In Final confirmation, tap Delete account.

In the browser

1. Click your profile at the bottom of the side menu — Settings → Profile opens.
2. In the Danger zone section choose Delete account.
3. In the Delete account permanently? window, type the word DELETE.
4. Click Delete account.

Once it’s done you’ll see “Account deleted” and be signed out.

Just sign out?

If you only want to leave the account on this device, use Sign out in the same place. Your data stays untouched.
